The Dissertation Markup Language (DiML)

DiML is an XML-based Markup Language developed within varoius projects, like DiDi: Digital Dissertations or Dissertation Online at the Humboldt University, Berlin. It was adapted from the DTD developed in 1985 at Virginia Tech.

Up to now we have used an SGML-based format for archiving electronic documents (esp. dissertations). See our document server: http://edoc.hu-berlin.de.
