				<head>Histologie </head>
				<p>Die hämatogen zirkulierenden Karzinomzellen extravasiierten im kapillären Strombett der Lunge und bildeten multiple Metastasen. Dabei handelt es sich um undifferenzierte Adenokarzinome mit hoher Zell- und Zellkernpolymorphie sowie ausgeprägter mitotischer Aktivität. Die in Abbildung 10 deutlich erkennbaren Sekretionsphänomene in Form von intrazytoplasmatischen Vakuolen sind ein Hinweis auf die ursprüngliche adenoide Histogenese. Das Wachstumsmuster der Metastasen entspricht am ehesten einem soliden Adenokarzinom mit Schleimbildung. Die dunklen Rückstände im Lungenparenchym (Abb. 9) sind Reste des Kontrastmittels (India Ink) mit welchem das Organ zur besseren Abgrenzung der Metastasen gefüllt wurde.</p>

Laparoskopie und Laparotomie hatten keinen Einfluß auf die Sterblichkeit. Die Gesamtletalität dieses Experimentes beträgt 3,3 %.</p>

					<p>Die Tiere der Laparoskopie-Gruppe zeigten bereits 2 Stunden nach dem Eingriff bezüglich Nahrungsaufnahme, Spielen und Nestbau keine Besonderheiten. Das Verhalten der laparotomierten Tiere konnte erst 12 Stunden nach der Operation als unauffällig bewertet werden. Vorher verweigerten sie die Nahrungsaufnahme und lagen einzeln und bewegungslos in den Käfigen.</p>

Zwischen Kontrollgruppe und Laparoskopie-Gruppe besteht kein statistisch signifikanter Unterschied (p = 0,633). Der Unterschied zwischen Kontrollgruppe und Laparotomie-Gruppe ist nach Bonferroni ebenfalls nicht signifikant (p &gt; 0,0167). Allerdings besteht ein deutlicher Trend (p = 0,048), der als Hinweis gewertet werden kann, daß sich bei einer höheren Fallzahl ein statistisch signifikanter Unterschied ergeben könnte.</p>

				<head>Perioperative Immuntherapie zur Prävention pulmonaler Metastasen</head>
				<subsection id="N10ABF" label="4.4.1.">
					<head>Letalität</head>
					<p>Von insgesamt 100 Versuchstieren starben 3 Tiere vor dem festgelegten Tötungszeitpunkt. Die Autopsie ergab jeweils blutige Pleuraergüsse und eine ausgeprägte Lungenmetastasierung. Die intraperitonealen Injektionen von Monophosphoryl Lipid A und dem Tumorzelllysathatten keinen Einfluß auf die Letalität. Damit liegt die Gesamtletalität dieses Versuches bei 3%.</p>

					<p>Die Paarvergleiche wurden mit dem Exakten Test nach Fisher durchgeführt. Verglichen mit der OP-Gruppe, der LTZ-Gruppe und der MPL-A-Gruppe war die Inzidenz pulmonaler Metastasen in der MPL-A+LTZ-Gruppe signifikant niedriger. Nur bei 6 von 20 Tieren (30%) konnten Lungenmetastasen beobachtet werden. Die Inzidenz pulmonaler Metastasen in der OP-Gruppe betrug 100%. </p>

					<p>Die mit lysierten Tumorzellen immunisierten Tiere (LTZ-Gruppe) entwickelten signifikant weniger Lungenmetastasen als die unbehandelten Versuchstiere (OP-Gruppe). Die Anwendung von MPL-A in Kombination mit lysierten Tumorzellen (MPL-A + LTZ Gruppe) hatte den deutlichsten, inhibierenden Effekt auf das Tumorwachstum. Die Tiere entwickelten signifikant weniger Tumore als die Versuchstiere der OP-Gruppe, der MPL-A-Gruppe und der LTZ-Gruppe. </p>
					<p>Die perioperative Behandlung mit MPL-A ohne zusätzliche Verabreichung lysierter Tumorzellen, bewirkte, im Vergleich zur OP-Gruppe, eine geringere Anzahl pulmonaler Metastasen (Median = 4). Obwohl der Unterschied statistisch nicht signifikant ist (p &gt; 0,005), zeigt sich ein deutlicher Trend (p = 0,015), der eine inhibierende Wirkung des MPL-A auf das Tumorwachstum andeutet. </p>
					<p>Die laparotomierten Tiere (OP-Gruppe, Median = 20) entwickelten, im Vergleich zur Kontrollgruppe (Median = 6,5), vermehrt Lungenmetastasen. Der Unterschied ist statistisch nicht signifikant (p = 0,03; Signifikanzniveau 0,005). Trotzdem zeigt sich auch hier ein deutlicher Trend, welcher den Einfluß der Laparotomie auf die Entwicklung pulmonaler Metastasen verdeutlicht.</p>
