Bibliosuisse als Anbieter und Akteur der bibliothekarischen Aus- und Weiterbildung

Abstract

Bibliosuisse sieht sich als zentraler Akteur in der I+D Bildungslandschaft der Schweiz. Er führt zusammen mit der Vereinigung der Archivarinnen und Archivare der Schweiz (VSA) die Ausbildungsdelegation I+D als Trägerin der beruflichen Grundbildung, die gerade neu ausgerichtet worden ist. Neu will Bibliosuisse die Grundbildung mit den Bachelor- und Master-Studiengängen in Information Science enger koordinieren. Mit einem eigenständigen Weiterbildungsangebot positioniert sich Bibliosuisse als praxisnahe Anbieterin von Kursen für Mitarbeitende von öffentlichen und wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken und von Dokumentationsstellen. Die Kooperation mit Hochschulen ist Teil der Strategie.

Bibliosuisse sees itself as a central player in the I+D education landscape in Switzerland. Together with the Association of Archivists of Switzerland (VSA), it leads the I+D training delegation as the responsible body for basic vocational training, which has just been realigned. Bibliosuisse now wants to coordinate basic training more closely with the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Information Science. With its own continuing education programme, Bibliosuisse is positioning itself as a practice-oriented provider of courses for employees of public and academic libraries and documentation centres. Cooperation with universities is part of the strategy.
